So it goes to reason that cleaning up and organizing your desk is a very important idea. Removing the papers and other objects until you can actually see all of your desk\u2019s surfaces. Make piles on the floor of EVERYTHING except the computer components, telephone, and desktop pad or organizer in the appropriate pile as you pick them up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The phone book, stapler, pens & pencils, tape, etc. go into \u201cThings that Need to be Handy\u201d. Check the date and topic on each item as you pick it up. If it is out of date, no longer an issue, or no longer needed, pitch it in the recycling bin.
